Fiat Ducato light chassis payload upgrade up to 4,250 kg with new certification
For motorhomes based on Fiat Ducato X250/290 and identical Euro chassis with light chassis, the included payload upgrade certification offers significantly more load reserve. In combination with the AirLift Maxi rear auxiliary air suspension and CoilSpring or ProShock at the front, upgrades of up to 2,400 kg rear axle load, 2,000 kg front axle load, and up to 4,250 kg total weight are possible. A suitable wheel and tire load rating is required. Our service team will be happy to advise you.

Retrofitting suspension technology
The Linnepe AirLift Maxi auxiliary air suspension complements the factory leaf spring suspension on the rear axle of the Fiat Ducato, providing greater stability and additional payload reserves. The complete system is supplied with all components, brackets, and air lines. Installation is carried out using precision-fit adapters, without drilling or welding on the chassis. For professional and safe installation, we recommend fitting by a trained specialist workshop.
Light chassis
For maximum payload on the light chassis, the AirLift Maxi auxiliary air suspension is installed at the rear alongside the original leaf spring, while the front coil spring is replaced with a CoilSpring or ProShock comfort strut. This significantly increases stability, ride comfort, and payload capacity.

Checklist
The prerequisite for upgrading the Fiat Ducato (Citroën Jumper / Peugeot Boxer) is always the installation of a Linnepe AirLift Maxi auxiliary air suspension system.
Leaf-sprung rear axle
Does the vehicle have a leaf-sprung rear axle? Please note: retrofit is not possible on a torsion-bar rear axle.
Vehicle identification plate
Check the code on the identification plate (field: version) to determine your chassis variant.
Check axle loads
Items 1 and 2 on the identification plate.
Comparison with payload upgrade table
The upgrade table shows the possible increases for rear axle load and total vehicle weight.
Wheel / tire combination check
The wheel/tire combination must have a load rating of 1,120 kg for light chassis (A, B, C, G, L). For heavy chassis (D, E, H or M), at least 1,300 kg is required. Proof of wheel and tire load capacity is required for TÜV approval. The permissible axle load of the vehicle must not exceed twice the wheel/tire load rating.
Changes for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes GVW
If the vehicle is upgraded beyond 3.5 tonnes, traffic regulations and inspection intervals (HU) will change.
If all previous points are met, you can use the configurator to check the maximum possible payload upgrade for your vehicle.
