Precision work
Fitting and installation
Hydraulic lift-up support systems consist of various components which the fitter adapts to the specific chassis in a specialist workshop. All components are precisely matched by the manufacturers and then installed in the workshop to suit the individual space requirements.
Technical procedures
How the hydraulic levelling system works
A hydraulic levelling system, such as the Linnepe QuickLift Hydraulik, consists of four levelling jacks, a central hydraulic power unit, hydraulic hoses and an electronic control unit. The system is usually operated via a control panel inside the vehicle. The system automatically extends the four supports and quickly levels the motorhome both lengthways and crossways. Important for levelling: The vehicle should be levelled in a way that protects the bodywork. As with the Linnepe QuickLift Hydraulics, all supports are first extended until they touch the ground. In the next step, only pairs of supports are moved at a time until the vehicle has reached its final position.
Precision in two dimensions
Alignment in the longitudinal and transverse axes
The system ensures a stable final position through coordinated movements. First, alignment takes place in the longitudinal axis, followed by alignment in the transverse axis. This process-controlled sequence ensures that no unnecessary stresses are placed on the structure.
Weight management
Check payload capacity
Hydraulic jack systems can easily handle heavy loads once the vehicle is levelled. Consequently, the hydraulic jacks are appropriately sized and made from solid materials. The weight of the jacks is compounded by the weight of the required oil, pump, hoses, mounting adapters and control unit. Regardless of the manufacturer, a weight of approximately 60 to 65 kilograms must be taken into account. The vehicle should therefore have sufficient load-carrying capacity. If the load capacity reserves are almost exhausted, in most cases more headroom for the additional weight can be created by increasing the load capacity.
Structural requirements
Ground clearance and mounting position
Hydraulic jacks must overcome the vertical distance from the retracted position to the ground and then raise the vehicle to a horizontal position. Depending on the vehicle, single-stage or two-stage hydraulic cylinders are fitted, which can cover a relatively large distance. The point on the vehicle frame where the jack is mounted must be capable of withstanding the corresponding forces. Trained specialist workshops select the optimal position for the jacks to prevent any twisting of the bodywork. These locations are often restricted in height, which limits the installation height of a jack. Consequently, on some vehicles, this can result in the jacks protruding slightly beyond the vehicle frame and restricting ground clearance.
Special features of four-wheel drive
vehicles
Challenges with 4x4 vehicles
Four-wheel drive vehicles present a special case, as their design gives them a high ground clearance. The enormous distance that jack stands must cover to raise such vehicles to a horizontal position requires very tall hydraulic cylinders. It is generally not possible to fit these without compromising ground clearance, a point that owners of 4x4 vehicles should bear in mind.
A critical look at additional options
Weighing function on the lifting support system
At first glance, a weighing function on the hydraulic lifting support system seems like a sensible addition. Manufacturers offering such an option on their systems specify a measurement accuracy that can vary by up to 3% from the actual weight. If the vehicle is loaded to its weight limit (or beyond), this discrepancy could result in a fine if stopped by the authorities. The actual vehicle weight should therefore always be checked again on a calibrated weighbridge.

The LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics have an emergency operation. If the hydraulics cannot be switched on, the supports can be retracted manually using an emergency operating lever on the pump unit.
Depending on the vehicle structure, the LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics can be used Starter battery or the Body battery be supplied with voltage. It is up to you to decide which solution makes sense in each vehicle authorized specialist company as part of the installation.
A) Permanently installed control panel
- Switch on system
- One-time Bluetooth pairing (radius approx. 20 m)
- Follow the instructions in the app
B) Removable control panel
- Switch on system
- Hold the stop button for 5–8 seconds → Expert mode
- ALL IN Press – display flashes

The LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics are generally low-maintenance. An oil change will every four to five years recommended.
In addition, they should Hydraulic cylinder pistons cleaned three to four times a year and then with a suitable adhesive lubricant, e.g. b. Würth HHS 2000, be sprayed again.
Since the operating conditions can vary greatly, one can more frequent cleaning necessary be – especially when there is a lot of pollution.
Important:
If the vehicle is left under high stress conditions for a longer period of time (e.g. several weeks directly by the sea, through which Salt deposits arise), the pistons should before entering be cleaned.
This is how to clean and lubricate properly:
- Let the piston extend.
- Rinse only with clean water – no cleaners, no soaps, no aggressive agents.
- With a Dry completely with a clean cloth.
- Then the pistons with a high-strength adhesive lubricant (z. B. Würth HHS 2000) Spray or lubricate.
- Let it retract briefly and extend again so that the lubricant is evenly distributed.
No, no ground clearance is lost by installing the LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics.
The supports willmounted as low as possibleto get onemaximum stroke distanceto ensure – but at the same timeas high as necessary, so that the supportsnot the lowest point of the vehicleand therefore no ground clearance is lost.
Installation is always vehicle-specific and in such a way that safe operation and sufficient ground clearance are guaranteed.
No. The LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics are required no ABE, no parts report and must not in the vehicle documents registered become.
A) Permanently installed control panel
- Switch on system
- Symbol Tank emptying ≥ 5 Sec. Drücken
- Bring the vehicle into the desired inclined position
- Symbol Tank emptying again ≥ 5 sec. drücken
- Storage is complete when another beep sounds and the LED turns off
- Switch off system
B) Removable control panel
- Switch on system
- Long press the stop button (expert mode)
- Briefly press the gray water tank button
- Drive vehicle into position

Yes, the LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics can generally be used to change wheels. However, it is absolutely necessary, Jack stands under the vehicle to ensure safety and prevent the vehicle from falling in the event of a possible hydraulic failure.
A weighing function only makes sense if it always weighs accurately, even under a wide variety of circumstances (e.g. large temperature differences).
Even a tolerance of just 3% results in a deviation of +/- 105kg for a vehicle weight of 3500kg.
Due to system-related measurement and tolerance deviations, we consciously decided against an integrated weighing function. As a result, the system concentrates completely on its core tasks – precise leveling and maximum stability.
Yes, the system can be controlled via app. Requirement:LINNEPE App Version V20 and activated location sharing.
Yes, the LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics have a savable position with a gray water symbol. This function specifically raises the vehicle on the side opposite the gray water tank drain so that the gray water tank can be emptied more quickly and completely.
No, the LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics may only be used by trained LINNEPE service partners be mounted. Self-assembly is not permitted, as only authorized specialist companies about the necessary Qualifications and experience have to have one safe and professional to ensure installation.
The LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics have an automatic safety function.
If the engine is started while the supports are still extended, a warning signal sounds, and the supports retract automatically. This prevents you from accidentally driving off with the supports extended and damaging your vehicle or the system.
The pump unit of the LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics can do both within the vehicle as well as under the vehiclebe mounted. At a Underfloor installation the unit comes with a Underfloor box installed to it before weather influences, stone chips and other external influences.
In principle, it is possible to expand the LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics and transfer them to another vehicle. This primarily affects the main unit. However, depending on the vehicle, different lifting supports are required. In addition, the hydraulic hoses must always be replaced. In addition, holes remain on the original vehicle, for example for the control panel or power supply. From an economic point of view, a conversion is usually not recommended. In practice, it makes more sense to leave the added value of the lifting support system on the existing vehicle and to equip the new vehicle with a new LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulic system.
Depending on the version, the LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics have a total weightfrom around 46 kg.
The weight is distributedusually evenly on the front and rear axles, but may vary depending on the vehicle type andMounting position of the pump unitvary slightly.
For the remaining payload this means:
The system weight reduces the available payload accordingly, with the loadtypically evenly distributed across both axes.
Yes, the LINNEPE QuickLift hydraulics are basically bothTrailer hitchesas well as withload carrierscombinable.
If a trailer hitch or a load carrier fromLINEN PEEPis installed, the assembly of the lifting support system is usually possible without any problems.
For attachments from other manufacturersThe mounting option should be checked individually.
