Product information "GiroVan"
Swivelling, fold-up bike carrier for panel vans (Eurochassis), for two e-bikes. Mounted directly on the chassis, no tow bar required (can be combined with a detachable tow bar). Elegant LED light bar, one-handed operation, swivels completely to the side (even when loaded) → free access to both rear doors. When folded up, the vehicle is approx. 40 cm shorter. Bikes only need to be lifted to knee height.

Bitte erkundigen Sie sich beim Hersteller Ihres Fahrzeugs, ob es Beschränkungen bei der Nutzlast eines Heckträgers gibt. Diese Beschränkungen reduzieren die Nutzlast des Trägers entsprechend, auch wenn die Träger größere Nutzlasten haben. Durch die Montage eines Heckträgers verringert sich die Bodenfreiheit.

When can I expect it?

- no earlier than 14 days after booking, in Ennepetal or Burgheim. You choose your day online in the calendar.
- Duration of installation
- Usually half a working day. You can wait on site; on request we can provide a courtesy car for the day of installation.
How much can I carry?
The payload of the load carrier is given in the technical data. What also matters is how much weight your vehicle may carry at the rear. If you are unsure, tell us your vehicle and we will check it.
Should I add additional air suspension?
The additional weight at the rear changes the vehicle's ride position. Additional air suspension on the rear axle compensates for this and improves driving comfort and safety. We will be happy to advise you.
Does the load carrier require a registration entry?
Our load carriers have EC type approval and do not require a registration entry. If you change vehicles, you can usually take the load carrier with you.

It is possible to install our products yourself. We generally recommend having the installation carried out by a specialist workshop. Our hydraulic support system may only be used by trained service partners (you can find them at /Servicepartner/) or installed in our service center.
